Know Before You Go
From booking your room to exploring your new city, here's everything you need to feel confident and prepared.
Booking Process
Once you find a property you're interested in, upload:
• Two forms of identification (e.g., passport, student ID)
• Proof of sufficient funds (PDF, JPG, PNG, or a screenshot of your bank account)
Important: Please hide sensitive banking details such as account or routing numbers before submitting.
Next, review and complete all Booking Reminders (see below), then click "Secure Your Spot, Book Now!" to submit your booking. Your housing will only be confirmed once all documentation is complete and your payment has been processed.
Every unit listed on our platform is verified through our Unit Selection Process, which ensures full transparency and accurate details in every listing.
Booking Reminders (Required Before Booking):
1. I've been accepted by both my home and abroad university.
2. I've applied for my visa and will receive it before departure.
3. My passport is valid through the entire abroad term.
4. I understand my housing is only confirmed once all required documents and payments are completed.
5. I know my program start and end dates.
6. I've completed required health forms or vaccinations (if required by the destination country).
7. I understand I am responsible for having health and travel insurance during my stay abroad.
8. I understand refunds are only possible in extenuating circumstances (e.g., pandemic, war, etc.).
9. I have read, understood, and agree to sign the Placement Agreement electronically.
A guarantor, such as a parent or legal guardian, may be used to submit Proof of Sufficient Funds. However, Proof of Sufficient Funds is required for every booking—whether submitted by the student or the guarantor.
Refunds are only available in the case of extenuating circumstances, such as a pandemic, war, or other emergency. We send multiple reminders and confirmations before any booking is finalized, and once the booking fee is paid, your spot is reserved with the landlord and cannot be reallocated.
